This Dog’s Legs May Have Been Shattered, But Nothing Could Destroy His Spirit

A car accident in India left a dog with badly broken bones in one of his legs and his lip stabbed with a tooth. The poor dog had surgery to aid his recovery, he was recovering physically but no longer showed his character and soul. The dog seemed to have given up, but when he experienced some extra time, love and care he opened up and became full of life.

The dog, named Jeremy, was helped by Animal Aid Unlimited out of India who has assisted with his rescue and rehabilitation. They do incredible work but this story, in particular, is astonishing.

The rescue group shared this video on YouTube and said, “When we got the call to rescue a puppy who had been hit by a car, we found one of the most injured puppies we have ever seen. One of his front legs was crushed and dangling by just the skin, he was covered in blood, and he had a huge hole in his face. He was in so much pain that he kept on biting frantically at his broken leg and falling to the ground.”

After his ordeal, Jeremy was left broken, in all senses of the word. He had lost his interest in life and didn’t seem to want to be rehabilitated at all. Animal Aid Unlimited were doing everything they can to turn Jeremy’s situation around.
