Lucky for the cat, a woman was walking her dog along the banks. When, the dog noticed the thrashing, without a seconds thought, he jumped into the frigid waters to do what he could.
The brave pooch can be seen encouraging the cat to jump on his back before heroicly swimming the cat to the shore, and with a not so glamorous head flick, he delivers the sodden cat safely back to dry land.
