This Police Officer Did Something Amazing To Save This Frightened Little Dog!

Peggy Edwards recently posted a heartwarming story to Facebook, in which a Woonsocket, Rhode Island police officer went all out to save a stranded dog.


Edwards noticed the loose pup when it took off running after being spooked by a car going by. Unfortunately, the little female dog attempted to find shelter inside a tunnel nearby.

“She was stuck about 20-25 ft. in and was clinging to the side,” wrote Edwards. “We tried to help but were afraid of scaring her further in.” She decided to call the Woonsocket Police, who then sent Officer Joe Brazil to the rescue.

“He went in without hesitation and came out with a very wet, scared, little dog,” wrote Edwards, who was there to capture the moment that Officer Brazil came out of the tunnel, barefoot and smiling.

Four paws up for this hero who didn’t just stand by when this little doggie was in danger!
