It is not yet known what happened to Calvin and why he was in this state but it is being actively looked into.
Calvin is a sweetheart, he has so much love to give and has not let his situation get him down.
He weighed only 24.8 pounds on arrival at Vet Ranch. His situation gives the distinct impression of neglect and abuse, Calvin needed love and food in big doses. He has been getting lots of nutritious food to help him gain weight.
He went to live with a foster family where he was given endless love, care, and affection. After only two weeks he was gaining weight, his ribs were not showing anymore and he was looking like a new dog.
In just 30 days Calvin has doubled in weight and is a happy, healthy pup. Calvin has so much love to give and just needs a forever home.
